100 Days of Creativity ; Day 2 of 100

I wish I knew how the background was made but it was in my stash from many-many-many years ago. It was on some really thin paper so I ended up having to mat it to make it more stable.
I had to stamp the faeries on a piece of acetate to flip them around to the way I wanted them. The "Waves" are leftovers from an envelope I made for a friends Bday card from an old calendar. And once again, I have no idea who made the stamps or where I got these two. I've had them forever, it seems. It's so fun rummaging through my stamp collection.

I was so resistant to sitting down to do anything. I had a whole list of excuses. I'm too damned tired. I'm too damned achy. Maybe I can wait till tomorrow and do two...but then Wednesdays are my looooooong days. I figured I would not be up for making two. I resist everything at first. Seems to be apart of my personal nature. Finally I gave in and of course once I started, I didn't want to stop. This one was really simple and came together with ease. I love it! I may just have to scan this in and use it for a greeting card front!

Until next time...

  1. Yup, I resist everything, too, until I get started and then I can't stop! :-)

Thanks for the feedback! Most comments will be published right away except for you pathetic spammers who's messages will never see the light of day. If you are offended by having to fill one a "prove you are not a robot" form, my goodness...chill out! It takes two seconds to do and saves me a ton spam to have to filter through and it takes two seconds, MAX. If you are that easily offended, maybe you should simply not comment, and seek some counseling.
