A Cosmic Christmas

I found this 70's cartoon on the heart of Christmas/Yule, over at Katitudes , very heart-warming. We need more programs like this in todays over-commercialized holidays. I wanna know how to make one of those paper angels like the one in the video that the Grandma makes (at 9:38). I suppose in the olden days people had more than enough time on thier hands to make decorations. Now-a-days those of us who have to work for a living have to find time between jobs and sleeping to get anything done.

One of my favorite winter time traditions is having ritz crackers, sprinkled with sugar, and then soaked in black coffee. OOOoh what-a-treat! My uncle would serve this for me so I could have some of his coffee. I have always loved coffee. And this special treat reminds me of those days when he and my aunt were alive. They helped to take care of us when money was tight. I miss them.

What is the story behind your favorite holiday tradition?

Until next time...

  1. Hi
My friend Marian told me to watch your silk hankie video. AMAZING! And you make it look so simple! I love to spin silk but have only ever had roving.
Anyway, just wanted to stop by and say thanks for the tutorial. Did you join ST? I think Marian told me tonight you either were going to or you did.
    Blessings,

Thanks for the feedback! Most comments will be published right away except for you pathetic spammers who's messages will never see the light of day. If you are offended by having to fill one a "prove you are not a robot" form, my goodness...chill out! It takes two seconds to do and saves me a ton spam to have to filter through and it takes two seconds, MAX. If you are that easily offended, maybe you should simply not comment, and seek some counseling.
