Yay! I finished one! I made this yarn, spun it myself. It is an alpaca and wool plyed together to make the fingering wieghtsock yarn. I even dyed it myself too! I did the casserole dish oven method. I folded the skien (a whole 4 ounces worth) in half so it would fit into the largest oven dish we have. Then I poured red on one side, purple in the middle, and blue on the opposite side. I love how the red and purple blen to make a dark berry color. Yummy! It stripped up really nice!
