Is Yellowstone ready to blow?

I've been following the independent news updates about Yellowstone and the state it is currently in. I'm just a tad concerned. Russia published a report about it, yet our own Government has not issued a damn word to the public about it. Not that it would do anyone anyone any good, but what makes them think people won't find out, sooner or later.

So here I am worrying about finding a job.

And now I wonder if I should just enjoy the free time while I have it because if Yellowstone erupts...our world is gonna drastically change. Money will be the last thing on my mind. I'm not sure if I'd want to continue and try to survive, only to suffer and eventually die of thirst or starvation, if this plays out and Yellowstone erupts.

These reports are recent, like THISWEEK recent. They are saying the roads in Yellowstone have turned to soup, yet the website says they are open as usual. Some people are claiming they are looping old footage of the most popular geysers (like Old Faithful) because the grounds have become so active.

I like this channel because he is not all "repent now!" or any other religious BS. I am spiritual, but I don't follow indoctrinated belief systems, and I'll leave it at that. I believe in live and let live. You believe what you want, and I'll do the same and we'll coexist peacefully in the same space. There's no need to prove one way is better than another, and what a waste of time and energy that is anyways. Everything leads to the same place in the end, religion has no weight there.

So I dunno what to think about this...but the evidence thus far suggests something big is on the horizon, and it's gonna happen soon. It'll be Pompeii all over again, except...it'll be in my own country in my own lifetime. I'm a pretty reasonable person, so jumping to over enthusiastic conclusions without a basis of fact first is not something I do. I didn't panic with 2000 hit. I surely didn't worry about 2012 even though my personal life took a huge shitter that year.

The earth needs a redo. The population of uncaring, polluting beings is too large for this planet to support. And if this is the means or the way of population control, so be it.

I shall enjoy the time I have left.

Until next time...

US Cherokees vote to expel descendants of slaves

Read this and tell me this is not selfish, racist, rediculous, and complete idiosyncrasy! Do I want to advertise my Cherokee heritage...and be associated with this?!! I think not! I am my own Cherokee Nation, one that accepts all lines of Cherokee heritage!! Black, white, tan, purple, orange, blue...who are they to say someone with different colored skin is not Cherokee who has clear proof they are!! BULLSHIT!

WASHINGTON (AFP) - Native American Cherokees voted to expel descendants of black slaves from their tribe nation in a special election that has prompted charges of racism, according to returns made public early Sunday.

But a vote of 77 percent to 23 percent, the Cherokee Nation in Oklahoma adopted Saturday an amendment to their constitution that strips membership from so-called "Freedmen," those descended from slaves once owned by Cherokees, blacks who were married to Cherokees and children of mixed-race families.
"The Cherokee people exercised the most basic democratic right, the right to vote," Chad Smith, Principal Chief of the Cherokee Nation, said in a statement. "Their voice is clear as to who should be citizens of the Cherokee Nation. No one else has the right to make that determination."
However, opponents of the amendment say it was a racist project designed to deny the distribution of US government funds and tribal revenue to those with African-American heritage, US media reported.
"This is a sad chapter in Cherokee history," Taylor Keen, a Cherokee tribal council member who opposes the amendment, told the New York Times.
"But this is not my Cherokee Nation. My Cherokee Nation is one that honors all parts of her past."
Advocates of changing the 141-year-old treaty rules defining who is a Cherokee say the tribal nation has a sovereign right to decide citizenship and that other tribes base membership on blood lines.
The Cherokee Nation, which ranks as the second-largest tribe behind the Navajo, has some 250,000 to 270,000 members and is growing rapidly. Members are entitled to benefits from the US federal government and tribal services, including medical and housing aid and scholarships.
Cherokees, along with several other tribes, held black slaves and allied themselves with the Confederacy during the US civil war. After the war, the federal government in an 1866 treaty ordered the slaves freed.
In 1983, the Cherokee Nation expelled many descendants of slaves as members but a Cherokee tribunal ruled last year that the Freedmen were fully-fledged citizens with voting rights. That court decision prompted Saturday's special vote.
Native American tribes recognized by the United States government have the right to self-determination and authority similar to US states.
Election results will remain unofficial until certified by the Cherokee Nation Election Commission, but officials said percentages were not expected to change significantly.

Would you eat cloned foods?

I know I would not!! Then they say they more than likely will not label which foods are from cloned animals!! Ummm, can you say massive boycott? People are gonna wanna know they are buying cloned meat!! They bitched and moaned over getting fast foods labeled, but cloned foods will not be marked?

I highly doubt that this will fly in America. They will have to label eventually because I will turn vegan if they don't (and I love my red meats!).

BOYCOTT CLONED FOODS!

Falwell’s Flub: Jerry-Rigged Policy Opens Door For Pagan Proselytizing In Virginia Public School

This would be a good read if it weren't for the insulting Proselytizing headline. Dictionary says:

"1.To induce someone to convert to one's own religious faith.
2.To induce someone to join one's own political party or to espouse one's doctrine.

VERB: tr.
To convert (a person) from one belief, doctrine, cause, or faith to another. "

Pagans don't Proselytize, Christians do. If you meet a pagan in public, and that pagan sees a cross on your neck, that pagan does not stop to Proselytize at you to convert. BUT, on the other hand, you get a christian in there next to a pagan and chances are you will get asked a question or two, and then let the Proselytizing to convert begin! Silly brain washed people. How insulting that headline is!

Advertising about a pagan event, also, is not proselytizing.

But, it's about freedom for all religions, so I guess it isn't all that bad. Better choice in wording next time would do all the minorities some good.
