Quilting shenanigans

"Summer in the Park"
I made this over the July 4th weekend since there was really nothing else to do over the weekend. It was fun to do and could theoretically be done in a day. But after sewing for nearly 5 hours on the strips, my back was hurting so I could not go any further.
So I shared it with a quilting group on facebook and made a one word comment as to where the jelly roll was acquired.

The shenanigans that ensued from that ONE negative word was quite unbelievable. Never-mind the awesome pattern that the post was for...no, let's focus on that comment about...HOBBY LOBBY.

I called them misogynistic. The exact wording was "sadly, the jelly roll was purchased from Hobby Lobby years before I knew they were misogynistic"
That was IT. That's all I said. And it is my opinion of the source of the fabric and that was all. It was not meant to start a shit storm.

Here's a bit of FACT on this bit of SHIT.

Facts, yo.
So you are not BLINDED by the lies

Now I don't normally get all political on this here blog, because there is plenty of that elsewhere to find and read. I could not get over that some near sighted wimmin are actually FOR this. It's so SAD. You can't claim religious freedom just to limit the freedoms of others!! What kind of backwards country is this?? We are so backwards here in the USA. Yes, yes we are.

My personal belief is that there is room enough on this planet of ours for every religion from every culture, however...there is NO tolerance for one that wants to hold power over people and claim it's their "religious freedom" to do so. BULLSHIT. It's not religious freedom when you force your doctrines onto people who may, or may not, believe the same way and in turn this effects their own freedom of choice. It's complete idiocy!
Anyways, I took no part in the discussions that ensued on my post, and as time went on (12 hours) the posts got more and more hostile. Finally the group "administrator" ORDERED me to amend my post or remove it then proceeded to lecture me on how the group was not for posting of political agendas.

Mind you, there was NOTHING political about the post other than my one word description about where I obtained my fabric some years ago before I learned of that places agenda against wimmin. *I* was not the one fueling the comments on the post. *I* was not encouraging anyone to say anything. People saw that one word and went CRAZY.

Needless to say I don't think I will be posting there anymore.

Here is a capture of the conversation that went on. And no, I did not blot out the names. It's an open group and they made the choice to turn MY POST into a political discussion. Read from right to left. The right column was the first comments. Mostly positive. AND THEN, someone had to go there. They HAD to put in their two cents about the whole HL bull-shittery. They made that choice all on their own. And I swear these people have some impulse control issues. Once one person said something, THEY ALL had to say something.

Crazy town

I am very saddened by how people chose to react to my post. I am also so very saddened by the blinders some of them have on. Sheep.

So I removed the line of opinion from my post and the group "administrator" removed all the comments that contained opinions on HL.

I'm going to try to get it all pieced together tonight and cut a border. I would like the border to have mitered corners. I have the PERFECT floral fabric for the border that I got from JOANNS clearance fabrics that were half off the half offs. Now THAT is always a great deal to take advantage of.

I feel ripped off...

Warning! Ranting ahead!!

!

!

!

I bought an Aflac vison coverage plan last year along with an accident and dissability plan in hopes that I could curb my eye care costs. Turns out, they don't cover much of anything at all and I have been paying $25 a month via direct debit from my paycheck for 12 months for a little bit of nothin. I could put that coverage costs back and have more than enough to cover my costs! Good Goddess, they are such a rip-off! They only cover $35 in exam fees, and they only cover contacts and glasses AFTER 24 MONTHS FROM ENROLLMENT!!!! What fuckin use is that?! $25 per month for 12 months is $288!!! More than enough for a years supply of contacts and an eye exam!!

*&^%$#@ RIP-OFF!!

I wanted to cancel the plan 2 months ago, but they told me I could only cancel during "Open Enrollment" in November. So I have to still pay them till then.

*&^%$#@ RIP-OFF!!!

Then I called to cancel and they tell me the plan will continue until Janurary and I still have to pay them.

*&^%$#@ RIP-OFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mother-flippin-god-forsaken-unregulated-bullshit!! I am so angry with them right now!

Is it me or...

Is anyone else annoyed by the fact that the Opera show brakes for commercial LITERALLY every 60 seconds for 3 MINUTES of commercials?! Without the commercials the show would only be around 30 minutes but they brake every minute or so and s-t-r-e-a-t-c-h the program with the gawd-forsaken commercials!! Shame on you Opera! *sticks nose in air, and swtiched channels to watch ELLEN D. instead!!! She's much less depressing and more upbeat anyways.*

I have a comment on that...

So I checked in with the blogathon.org website and I found out that we can still take sponsor donations for 48 hours AFTER the blogathon!!! It would have been nice to have known that BEFORE now! *face-palm*

They have a couple of "I survived Blogathon" buttons, one is in PNG format (Nothing supports that format other than that Adobe program...what is that called?) and the other was is overshadowed by a "and all I got was this lousy banner" comment. What the hell?! That totally overshadows what we did for charity with negativity! I will not have that on my blog. I am proud to have raised what I did and I have no negative feelings about it. That is really lame IMHO. How about "I survived blogathon and helped a charity grow stronger" or something MORE POSITIVE like that. Good grief. *shakes head in disbelief*

I like "I survived Blogathon, and lost my taste for coffee!" because I drank so much of it. HA!

Exhasperated over knitpicks.com checkout

I am so mad at knitpicks! I cannot EVER login to check out and I always have to call my danged order in. I am sick and tired of having to call these people. I have told them over and over again that there is SOMETHING wrong with the checkout and that I have tried every trick in the book but for some reason when I go to checkout the login.asp page keeps RELOADING! OH! It's MADDENING!!!
They are always in a rush to get my order and my information when I call, one of many reasons why I HATE calling them. I like their option needles but this shit is flippin old already!!!

I went to the library and tried to check-out on three different public computers, went to a friends house to try on her computer, and it still does the same thing. I can login to change my account settings and information, but I cannot check out! MADDENING! When I called in my order, the lady said my information had not changed on thier end and of course they thing that is the reason for my troubles. Come on people! Why don't they take me seriously? Why would I make something like this up!? MADDENING! So we changed my information on THEIR end and I placed an order which was less painful than last time even though I have a frog in my throat. WHen I try to checkout now, it is letting me!! MADDENING! Even though I changed my email through my end...it did not take effect until THEY changed it on THEIR end. MADDENING!!!

Until the next rant...

Update: 7.27.07
Well apparently the problem was thier website customer database. When I changed my current email it was not changing it in the main database and so when I tried to log in, using my new email which I thought was changed, was not working because of the glitch. Although I did not get a chance to say this to the woman who took my order because she was very adament about telling me that the problem was as simple as using the wrong email to login. Well it was the problem, but obvious to me, there is much more to it than a simple mistake over what email to use when logging in. The system is not changing old information as it is changed by the customer. Cripes. Well so that is fixed for the time being...till the next time I try to order....*Marge Simpson groan*

Die Cell phone...DIE!!!

I did it. I finally did it. I had the BF call and cancel the cell phone service (he opened for me because my credit was not impeccable enough). I have been paying $60 or more a month for a service I rarely use anymore. Originally it was so I could call Mom without racking up a HUGE long distance bill. We now have charter broadband phone service and it comes with free long distance so the cell phone is now obsolete. My Best Friend in Indiana finally got a computer at home so there is no need to text me anymore. Now I just gotta pay off the $165 bill! I am gonna start getting rid of things like this that I do not need or can live without. I am gonna payoff and close my book clubs as well (only 2 but they are tempting because of the Bill Me feature).

I have a new friend to help me sleep, called Brandy. HA! I have about 4 ounces of Brandy before bed and I am set to sleep like a flippin rock man! Makes it hard to type though...oye...and the drawback is that it tends to make me sweat....a lot. Yuck! Can you say morning shower?!

I am finally getting around to cleaning the Mohair that I have, but I cannot stand the texture nor the allergic reaction I get from even the cleaned fiber. It is even a pain in the ass to card!! So I am gonna list it on my Etsy Store and see if I can get my purchase price of $35 back. What a waist! I have am cleaning and carding just a bit over an ounce that I am selling in carded batts for $6. I don't want to charge too much, but this is a lot of work and takes a lot of soap to clean!

My jar dyeing results are ready to post but I can hardly see streight enough to type, so posting pictures will have to wait till tomorrow! I also made a tarot baggie out of the cotton and wool blend yarn I made. The yarn came out bulky at 9 WPI so the baggie knit up quickly. You can see it here: http://spunstitches.blogspot.com/2007/07/tarot-baggie.html

I also bought 7 raffle tickets from Insubordiknit for her yarn club. The winner gets three months of art yarn free! Check it out, click on the Raffle Waffle link. I am not usually into the yarn scene, but she provides humane roving so I'll buy tickets. If I win GREAT! If I don't, then I am supporting another ethical being.

Wow, the room spins around me....till tomorrow...

Until next time...

Learning Escima sticks and more crazy freaks!

I learned nine moves with my escrima sticks Monday. Now to customize my sticks! I want to burn in some designs and symbols and possibly stain it in classic cherry. I dunno what but I love the classic cherry look.

All of the second batch of polyphemus eggs have hatched out and are now munching happily away.

Speaking of happy pets...

I had some freakazoid comment on one of my videos on youtube of my Betta, Skye. Well I said so too (in so many words) and lo-and-behold everyone has a comment to post now!! Boy howdy, stir that shit pot-STIR IT!!

Anyways, this Frakazoid went all preachy on me on how the container was too small this, and bubbles where bad this and that. Okay, Ms/Mr. Holier-than-thou-pet-advocate-extremist...who asked you? My goddess, I mean this person went on and on...for goddess sakes-these freaks must not have anything else better to do than to try to convience others that thier knowledge is far superior when the fact is it is completely opposite! Then this user went and messaged me through youtube mail and went on and on about how I should listen to them for the sake of the fish...(!!!!!). Again!! Who ask you?! I did not go seeking your advice nor a pet care sheet from you so why are being a knat? (buzz-buzz.....SPLAT!). Annoying knat! For Goddess sakes, get a life! I know how to take care of a dang fish! A FISH!!! All this random freakishness over a FISH!!! There are websites with far superior knowledge than yourself that I have taken advantage of looooooooooong ago! *face-palm* The video is like five months old for Goddess sake, what makes people think nothing has changed?! I even say he lives in a larger conatiner now in the video description (along with a few choice words about people who like to stick it where it's not wanted, needed, nor asked for)!

*faint*

Why are the freaks always attracted to me? Is it my loverly dorkiness? ;)

Not too much on the crafting front. I have spun a little, but I am much more active outside than in this time of year. I have a pound of white Merino roving coming my way that I cannot wait to start playing with in dyes. I biked to the Artist Supply shop on State Street (8 miles away using the bike trails) and bought some thickener, some burgandy dye, and some brushes for painting with.

Oh I do have another bitchin complaint. I called TDS sunday to put in an order to cancel our services and I was told they would put the cancelation order on the account. I called in again today because everything is still hooked up and wouldn't you know it, the damned beotch I spoke with didn't put the order in? Trying to rob me of more money they are but delaying the cancelation! Well that won't work with me! What a pain in the ass.

Until next time...

Ramblings...

Yesterday we went to Meineke, made an appointment for a front end alignment and three new tires (front tires and spare) for 11 AM, we get there someone ahead of us said they were there for their 11AM alignment appointment. They double booked!! We ended up waiting an HOUR AND A HALF before they got to us because they "only have one alignment machine" and the folks that got there the same time we did were also getting an alignment. *FUMMING!* We were there a total of THREE HOURS because the alignment takes an hour and a half by itself! I was not and am not happy about this. What is the flippin use of making an appointment if they double book the time slots?! I thought the point of making an appointment was to AVOID this kind of wait because they do take walk-ins on a first come basis. We should have received some sort of discount for their incompetence and making us sit around for three hours when we both had plans.

I ended up not getting to go to the sporting goods store to look for boxing gloves and hand wraps because Mike had plans for 2PM. So I was stuck home all fuckin day and it was just too hot and humid for me to go biking. I was not happy. So I went shopping online, which is bad because I ended up buying a pound of white Merino roving to dye. *sigh*

Sunday we went to the farmers market and bought some cheese curds which happen to be on special! YAY! Then I took the BF with me shopping for boxing gloves and hand wraps. I ended up buying premium full grain deer hide gloves from Home Depot because the boxing gloves at the sporting goods store were either to small or too big! The deer skin work gloves were juuuust right. LOL While we were there I also found a heavy spring to add to the eye-hook for the punching bag. We stopped at Harbor Freight Tools as well and I found some interlocking foam "work" mat squares that can easily do double duty as a yoga mat. That was cheap and a lot cheaper than any yoga mat I have seen yet! Great cushioning for sit-ups as well. I also found some watering stakes that fit onto one or two liter bottles. Sweet!

I broke down and turned on the air conditioning for the first time this summer. The night was so hot and humid that I did not sleep well and I needed a shower. That's bad when you need a shower just from sleeping!! The air outside is so heavy....blah, my lungs arn't likin it too well. They say the humidity is going to go away...well they have also been saying we are supposed to get storms, but they keep pushing that prediction further ahead. Friday they said Saterday evening. Saterday they said Sunday evening. And now here it is Sunday and they are saying Monday or Tuesday. Lets just say it's gonna rain SOMETIME but we are really unsure as to WHEN. LMAO!!

Polyphemus Hunting, Wiccans Win!

I spent most of my weekend walking around wooded places in hunt for the elusive polymephyus moth in either cocoon, egg, or catapillar stage. Nothing. So I opted to buy some from a man who raises them in canada instead since the Catherders group has started to require people to have permits. Why I need a permit to raise a native moth in my own home is beyond me and not something I am willing to do. By getting a permit you are allowing them (govrn officials) to drop by and visit your home on a random basis. Absolutlely not! I am not in agreement with that. Especially not with raising native wild silkmoths for crying out loud. It's just rediculous. Sellers do not require the buyers to have permits, so why would freebies need one? I'm left scratching my head.

I did find a couple catapillars that I brought home. One spun a cocoon, and the other one is close to the spinning stage. I found some Monarch eggs on some milkweeds this afternoon. They should hatch in just a couple days if not sooner.

The BF made some wicked Sangeria that tastes like koolaid but has that last minute kick-you-off-your-ass affect. WEEEEEEEeeeeeeeeeeeee....

I heard on the news that those fighting to get the pentacle on their soilder husbands headstones has finally been won. And Selena Fox put the whole situation into context. When you have to fight with the government and it's various officials to get a symbol on a headstone, and fight for the freedoms that should already be granted under the constitution by Freedom of Religion/Press/Expression...something is wrong!! What are these soilders fighting for if our simpliest constitutional rights are being violated in our own lands!? Not only that but the imigrants and illigals are living a better life here than the natives are, immigrant checks and all. History repeating itself again.

I babble as I sip on my night cap of Spiced Rum. YUM!

Until next time...

Well here it is, April 28th, a month later and no respose or help offered what-so-ever.
Better yet...here are copies of those emails:

Dear ,

Thank you for your email.

I did send off the free magazine to you, so I am sorry it hasn't reached you. As for your other queries, I will look into them and get back to you next week. The reason I say next week is because we are stocktaking and the people I need to question are all flat out!!

I will be in touch next week.

Many thanks

Subject: Thunkida-thunkida....Kiwi thunks...

I bought my Kiwi from the woolery.com (USA) just under a year or so ago ( I did send in my registration card to Ashford under *name ommited*...BTW I never did get that free issue of The Wheel that was offered on that card...) and it has just started to make a thunkida-thunkida sound. I use it a lot, and it gets oiled monthly...more when it is used more.

From what I can tell...it is the first treddle rod and it seems to be knocking around quite a bit against the metal rod (the treddle rod in the back, closest to the main stem). I dunno what to call all these parts as the assembly guide is purely graphic!!

I've tried moving the peddles up on the plastic tube thingies to increase the tension so the rod does not thunkida, but it still happens and it is driving me mad! Any suggestions?

BOOP!
I saw a glimpse of spring...then it morphed into summer!;

Well I guess "next week" never came over there.
SOooooooo, my next wheel WILL NOT BE AN ASHFORD because of this. Too bad, so sad. I am definately getting a Louet S10 when I can. I am very dissapointed with Ashford customer assistance and will take my hard earned money elsewhere.

Not only that, but a year ago when I sent in the registration card, there was a box on there to recieve a free issue of "The Wheel" publication. I have STILL not recieved that even though I have been told the three times I have inquired about it, that they would send me one. Obviously that registration card has not done me a bit of good. Thanks so much for nothing, Ashford.

New Blog: Embracing the Insanity: Life in a Ranting Parade

Okay, I am sensible. But I am in one hell of a smart-ass mood...*whispers* so bare with me.

*loud, obnoxious and dorky like with heavy british accent-kinda Monty Python like*

OOOOOOO novel idea Captian!!! Create a blog JUST for the ranting tirades!!! Keep the negative to one side while this side is all pristeen-pretty-fluffy-muffy-goodiness-of-sparkling-non-flamitory-text that portrays life like a bowl of freshly candied cherries. *big dramatic show of rolling eyes*

YESSsssssSSSSssssssss!!! Very Good! That way people who do not want to be freely offended are not, and thier eyes do not burst into great balls of fire (although that is way cool to watch)...and those who enjoy a good tirade can read them here .

*insert canned laughter here*

And those who feel the must abosolutely be heard and have uncontrolable googly fingers that don't seem to be controlled by any one brain or another *looks down at crotch...feeling for that second brain, then out to audiance, smirking*, are free to type out a blathering idiotic response...

*perky now*

But seeing as I am blog owner and controller of this here universe

*clears throat*

....comments will be moderated and deleted at will as I see fit to do so.

*eyes narrowed...daring, smart-ass like*

OOOOoooo you must click right over there and try it again.

Must....be....heard....must....get....a....response...cannot....keep....fingers....from....typing....ragin.....attitude....

cannnot....keep.....to self.....must.....return....tirade....must....

Okay then. Embrace the insanity while we walk together in a ranting parade, that is life.

Everything is OOOOOOookay. Really...

Disclaimer: Owner of blog is not repsonsible for your clicking to the ranting parade blog, and if you be offended-it's your own damned fault for clicking over there in the first place. Disclaimer out of the way, warnings posted...I am free to rant, rave, throw the most uglilest and foulest language known to Human Society as I relieve myself of stress. AAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!! Is that a breath of fresh air? NO. I. Farted.

Until next time...

A ranting tirade, FAIR WARNING...

This is a fair warning to those reading this that this is a ranting tirade of a stress reliever. IF YOU CHOOSE TO CONTINUE TO READ THIS POST I WILL NOT FEEL IN THE LEAST BIT BAD or guilty if your eyes turn into great balls of fire and you start blathering in some incohesive tongue or turn into an incoheisve blathering idiot.

Fair warning!

Okay...

Here it goes....

You want it...you got it!

************************************************************************************************************************************

I am so sick and tired of the poopie-butt-whippers who will jump in and complain and bitch about any given thing on a nanoseconds notice. Buzz off!

I've got people from the swap I organized all over my ass because I am publicly stating that CATHY HURD flaked me in my own swap! Well hello!!! GET THE FUCK OVER IT! It was a term of signing up for the swap and was stated so in the swap guidelines!! Mother fuckers.

I am so peed right now. And these damned mongers think they can bitch at me, about my own swap, in my own group! FUCK. YOU. PISS. OFF. This is my group and I won't allow you to bash me in my own god-damned group. God damned complainers are being banned as I type.

The swap is done and I will NEVER-EVER-IN A MILLION YEARS host another swap for these ingrates!! Wow, what a slap in the face. All nicey-nicey till the hostess is sick and tired of the bull shit, and then nanosecond later...FIRE IN THE HOLE!!

GRrrrrrrrrrrrr....*punch-kick-jab-kick-jab-jab-jab*

Comments are disabled for this post....I will have no more of it.

Actually all comments have been disabled for the time being because someone turned into a blathering idiot and is desperately trying to get my attention by posting harassing and mouthy comments to random posts because this one was disabled, but I will have none of it so the blathering idiot continues to be...an incohesive blathering idiot.

I will not EVER delete or edit a post because someone does not like it. I have a right, fair and square to post what I see fit to my blog...and it that is a ranting tirade of cursing, foul language, and bad mouthing, then so shall it be. You can not and will not control me. I will not allow it. I will not be molded to what anyone thinks a blog should be like. I am not one to follow in that line like a good sheepie-poo. If that is what you do, that is your business. This is mine. This is the outlet for my sane life.

Crafting, Gardening, and other things of goodness...

I found a nice peice of precut wood plaque for the head board to my belt display. It's actually a house number plaque from menards, but HEY it works!!

The spinach seedlings are growing away! It will be time to put them in the garden soon!!!

Here is my outdoor Bast Altar. It is in the garden space.

Then there is Zarnan who, for some odd reason, is wanting to do nothing but bury himself in his diggin box. Wierd tort. I hear this is normal behavior this time of year so I will not worry too much about him. It's still strange that he wants to bury himself at the beginning of warmer weather. Wierd.

Not much to write on today. I am VERY sore from yesterdays Karate practice. Mostly in my hips from round kicking so much. Then I am VERY tired because the BF's fucking midnight fidgeting woke me up. I am sleeping on the sleeper sofa tonight. I am sick and tired (LITTERALLY!!!!) of not being able to get enough sleep because this MAN does nto want to see a doctor about this. His night fidgeting has never been this bad.....something is wrong. But being a MAN, he doesn't want to do a damned thing about it and it is angerying me so!! He has employer provided health insurance. He ought to use it while he has it.

I WANT SLEEP DAMNED IT!! SLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP!!! UGH!

Until next time...

Made a Lucet, SP10

I made a lucet today! I was in need of one to make a cord for my felted bag so I used some of the oak scraps I have from making my belt display. It reminds me of a goddess figure...of even a swim suit! Totally by accident! But it works great! Now if I were to purchase one of these...I'd be spending anywhere from $20-$40 for one. I have enough scraps left over to make 10 at about $4 each (after cutting, sanding, staining, and sealing)! I'm thinking of making another one for my SP10 pal-ee who BTW recieved her first box and she sounds thrilled to have the spindle and fiber! EEEEEEeeeeeee! *Warm fuzzies!*

I have been working on all sorts of things today. I cleaned Zar's cage and the same corner where he is located. There is a bookcase there and some of the books had fallen out and being the chaotic and scattered person I am, they were left on the floor. So those got picked up and tiddied. Zar's cage smells much better!

We went to community pharmancy today and I bought that jar of Lanolin. I attempted to waterproof my felted bag...but I think I may need to wash it some because it came out...sticky. HUmmm...that didn't work like I thought it would. Oh well. The only thing lost is time as I have to work on getting it not so sticky. Then while up on State Street I stopped by the local artist supply shop and purchased some salmon and purple dye. The BF had to stop in one of the metaphysical stores...the one I really don't care for (Shakti) because they are so materialistic and thier prices are high on those materialistic goods. I can do without all of it....BUT... I did find a new bumber sticker...a mini one that says "Religion is a journey...not a guilt trip." I LOVE IT!!! GODS! My coworker is always beating herself down...drives me NUTTY!!! The Womyn has no value or confidence in her own skills. And she is SO PSYCHIC! Shetold me about a dream that she had and she told me in that dream that we were trying to save a fish...and I was giving her a fish for her Bday!! PSYCHIC MAN!!!

BUT, what really has me peed this weekend about that subject is she really has been ungreatful for the gift. She talked and talked and talked about wanting to get a fish again and I thought I was gonna do a good thing. NO! She keeps COMPLAINING that she doesn't have TIME to take care of a FISH. *scratching head* WTF?!! It's a FISH, not a cat or dog or any other exotic animal....A FISH!!! For crying out loud, it won't keel over and die if it is not fed every stinkin day so go take your weekend trips!! *face-palm* GRrrrrrrrrrr. Then she said that she thought she was gonna have to give it away and I told her flat out-if you don't want the critter, give 'em back because he is GORGIOUS and has gorgious long blue fins. If she gives it away to someone, I will be very upset at her. All that effort to print out care sheets, purchase everything she needed to get started and keep 'em healthy and happy for several months if not longer and then WHAM...GRRRRRRrrrrrrrrrrrr, arrrrrrrrrrrrgh...That is the last time I get a gift for any coworker! The nerve!

Other than that, it's been a quite weekend. All the lists I am a member too are quite so it must be nice weather all around. CRAP...I just remembered that I need to bring the plants in because it is still getting below freezing at night. POOP....

More felting of "The Bag"-Snow Picture

I ran the bag through another wash cycle, this time using dawn dish soap instead of detergent. The bag felted more and is now more of the size I was shooting for when I did all that aweful math a couple of weeks ago. I bought some jumper clasps for the front flap and extra "jean" buttons so I can adjust the closure is I need to. I have knitted and felted the inner pockets I wanted and the handle bar straps that will hold it onto the bike. The BF stuck it on my head and became a shutter bug again. LMAO! I really don't mind having my picture taken. Always time for a bit of goofing off!! I drink a lot of coffee...can you tell?! LMAO! I like my coffee!!!

And the day would not be complete without a picture from the snow storm we had. This was mid-day Wednesday. It was very pretty out as the snow was sticking to everything. Streets with a lot of trees looked like veiled pathways. SOoooooooo pretty! The pictures do not do the absolute beauty of it justice....even if it is supposed to be spring here!

I have been looking into purchasing a bike "computer" to keep track of the milage I will be biking. I tried to purchase from buildurbike on ebay after asking about his return policies but the basterd blocked me from purchasing anything!! WTF? I ask the seller a question because I am a weary and cautious buyer, not because I want to stir up some shit.I answered my email and he sounded like a good seller. Wierd. I asked this person if they wanted my sale or not because if they don't then I am just gonna go pay the extra $20 and purchase the same cateye wireless "computer" from the local shops here in town! Cripes. Wierdo.

SNOOD! SNOOD! Where art thou!!!

God forsaken asjkgaisuofgdsafhbdsnagsfyudfhbjew lots more bad stuff and more beaching....lots of beaching.

I cannot, for the life of me...find a snood pattern other than this fish net one that just looks....fishy. Bernat has a page called Snood pattern, BUT IT'S A COWEL NOT A SNOOD!!! It's a flippin winter head warmer NOT A HAIR NET!!

*faint*

Why is it so hard to find a decent snood pattern to knit??

Until next time...

How hard can it be? VERY!!!

How hard is it to find the webpage of the band that my Brother is apart of? Well...very hard. I tried to search for him and I get a million returns for the superman Reeves, Keanu Reeves...and every other Reeves EXCEPT my Brother Reeves. Cripes!!

I thought I had saved the bookmark on yahoo....uhhhh....nope. Crap.

Goodwill Treasure Finds!!! And a little complaining...as usual

OMG look at what I found at Goodwill today!! I was able to make it to the east side store right after they opened and before the retiree's came through (antique hunters). I found EIGHT 50 gram skiens of some italian yarn in a beautiful hunter green priced at...brace yourself...$.69 each!!!!!! *SQUEELS* OH MY GOD(dess)!!! It is soft and shiney made from Bomull, Lin, and Akryl of which I have no idea what those are but the yarn is soft and shiney, plus I really can't complain at $.69 a skien!!

Then I found TWO Aquascene 2 tanks, one with a light, and the other without a light but with a lot of goodies. I got two new air pumps to boot-one with each. One I made into Skye's new home, and the other I am gonna set up for a betta for a friend for her birthday. She has been saying she's been wanting another one...so here I go to set it up for her! This tank is much bigger than what Skye was in...and I don't think he really knows what to do with all the space he has now!! LMAO!

Now for the complaining....

Must be nice to be rich. Argh! I saw today that the Woolee winder has gone up to $185!!! There is NO WAY I would pay that much for that little bit of equipment that may or may not work correctly. *faint* I had been wanting one, but even at the old price of $150 I was hesitant to purchase it. Sheez. I can do without it. I just need a jumbo kit for the kiwi...or a bigger wheel which I am seriously considering. That thunkita noise coming from the Kiwi is driving me up the wall!!

To end on a positive note...kinda...

I bought myself 4.5 pounds of raw white alpaca blanket fleece. What new years resolution?? LMAO!!! I cannot wait to get my hands in that! I won it from an Ebay auction so I paid a lot less than I would normally would have for so much fiber. NICE!!

Okay I have to get off this thing and practice my karate for tomorrows promotion!! I am trying my darndest to convience the BF to come with me so he can shoot some digital video of the session so that I can send it to Mum so she can see what I am learning. But I dunno if he will or not. I have to push and fight with him to do anything with me and I am really sick and tired of doing that. He really hasn't been too supportive of me lately...and I'm a tad paterved. Now I cannot sleep because he figgits all flippin night long! ARGH!!! I haven't slept well all week because of it! Sleeper sofa...here I come! He won't see a doctor about anything, even though he has health insurance. Now one side of his face is swollen because of a tooth absest ( he doesn't brush his teeth and his teeth look nasty-very nasty...and then he wonders why I won't french it with him....eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeewwwwwwwwwwaaaah!!!!!!!).

MEN!!! *pulls hair out*
